I know, I know… it’s been a while. Like… over a year kind of while.

My regulars have been asking, “When are you going to have bread again?!” Meanwhile, all of our newer customers are probably wondering where exactly the “Bread” comes into play in Bread & Bloom Co. 😅

Turns out, somewhere between my regular job, homeschooling, renovating a house, kids’ sports six days a week, and growing this little flower business… sourdough got pushed juuuust a little too far down the list.

There were definitely moments when I wondered if I’d ever find the time to bring it back to my customers.

BUT SHE’S BACK.

Tomorrow, the stand will officially be living up to its name again. Stocked with fresh flowers AND homemade sourdough!

It feels so good to finally put the Bread back in Bread & Bloom Co. 🤍

We had a very full weekend between sports and celebrating my husband’s birthday, so the flower stand had to take a little break. We did, however, have several preorders to fill, including one extra sweet request.

This bouquet is headed to a mama who just welcomed a precious baby girl, so naturally, the assignment was “baby pink.”

I had so much fun putting this one together. There’s something especially meaningful about creating flowers for moments like these.

Motherhood is incredibly sweet, but those early newborn days can also be tender, exhausting, and overwhelming. I hope this little bundle of pink brought a bit of beauty and encouragement to her as she settles into life with her sweet baby girl.
