🏡🍓 WE’RE HOME! 🤎
There’s no place like home, and there’s nothing quite like climbing into your own bed after a big trip! We had such a wonderful time away with family, and we’re sending our warmest congratulations to the newlyweds! 💍🥂
One of the best surprises waiting for us? A garden that’s still thriving! 🍓❤️ A few fresh strawberries straight from the garden for breakfast this morning, and no need to rush to the grocery store first thing after traveling. It’s the little things that make coming home feel so good!
And after a long flight, there’s nothing better than pulling a croissant sourdough loaf out of the freezer, bringing it back to life, and filling the house with that just-baked smell. 🥐🤎 Honestly, that fresh-baked bread aroma might be one of the best smells in the world!
Now, over at Everything Sourdough Bake Co. , Lucy Doughball has had quite the vacation of her own! 😂🥖 She’s been living the chilly life in the fridge while we’ve been away, so she needs a little time to warm up, wake up, and get back to her bubbly self. She’ll be ready to help me bake up your favorites by next weekend!
🌾 What’s happening at Sweet Acre?
We may open later this weekend for local goods and fresh garden produce, along with a few quicker bakes like cookies and muffins if time allows. Keep an eye on our page for updates!
🍞 Our long-fermentation sourdough breads will be back on Thursday, October 22!
