🌱🍞 SWEET ACRE FARM STAND OPENS TOMORROW! 🍅🌻

We’re so excited to finally open the doors to our little farm stand Tuesday, August 11! 🎉

📍 2530 Island Hwy, Charlotte, MI
🕙 Tuesday–Friday | 10 AM–8 PM

We’re keeping things simple to start — fresh sourdough and homegrown produce will be the heart of the stand when we open. 🍞🍅🥒

And just like our farm, Sweet Acre will grow a little more each time you visit. 🌱

As we get settled in, we’ll be slowly adding more of what we’ve been dreaming about — locally sourced fruits and vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, fresh-cut flowers, and more homemade goodies from Everything Sourdough Bake Co. 🤍

So if you stop by opening week, don’t worry if everything isn’t here quite yet. This is just the beginning! We’re excited to build this little farm stand with you and give you something new to look forward to each time you visit. 🥰

🎉 Exciting things are happening at Sweet Acre! 🎉

Today was a BIG day—our farm stand shed was delivered! 🌻

Here’s the cute little shed you’ll be pulling up to, nestled in the pine trees. We already love how it looks, and we can’t wait to welcome you here!

Over the next few days we’ll be putting the finishing touches on the landscaping and getting the inside ready for opening day.

🌿 We’re planning to open Tuesday, August 11!

To start, we’ll be offering homegrown produce and fresh sourdough breads and baked goods from Everything Sourdough Bake Co. As the season continues, we’ll be adding even more—including farm-fresh eggs, flowers, and other local favorites.

‼️ UPDATE: we passed inspection and have delivery scheduled next week! ‼️
✨ Today is a BIG day here at Sweet Acre! ✨

After months of planning, dreaming, paperwork, meetings, phone calls, emails, and waiting… today is our on-site inspection for our new farm shed! ❤️

This little building represents so much more than just four walls and a roof. It’s a huge step forward for our family’s dream and for the future of Sweet Acre. Every tomato picked, loaf baked, cookie made, and seed planted has helped bring us to this moment.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way—whether you’ve purchased from our farm, shared our posts, cheered us on, or simply believed in our vision. It truly means the world to us.

We’re feeling excited (and maybe just a little nervous!) today, and we’re hoping everything goes smoothly. 🤞

Today’s photo captures the very first blush of our beautiful shimmer tomatoes, just beginning to ripen under the summer sun. 🍅❤️ Before long, they’ll be making their way from our garden to your table—a sweet reminder of why we’re working so hard to build something special here at Sweet Acre.

Our next fresh crop is almost ready! Honey Cucumbers are known for their beautiful light-colored skin and naturally sweet, crisp flavor. Their unique color and sweetness come from their heritage—they’re a hybrid with honeydew melon, giving them their signature mild, refreshing taste.

They’re perfect for fresh snacking, salads, or slicing, and they also make incredibly crisp, delicious homemade pickles.
