With summer break finally here, it’s been a lot more about putting my phone down and soaking up these little moments with my girls than it has been about bread — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. ☀️🤍

Bread by T has always been about more than what comes out of the oven. These three are just as much a part of it as the bread itself. They’re my why behind the long days, early mornings, and everything in between.

The bread will still be there. Summer with them won’t. There’s a good chance you can find us supporting the local downtown Castle Rock ice cream spots on the daily👀.

Summer is here, and this is what it’s all about!☀️

Dough proofing on the counter while the kids make a hundred trips in and out of the backyard all afternoon.

The back door opening nonstop, little voices everywhere, grass and sand stuck to bare feet, and something baking in the oven most days.

It’s busy, a little loud, and exactly the kind of summer I love.

Hobby baking for my family will always be one of my favorite ways to spend a day 🍔

Homemade sourdough hamburger buns for Memorial Day — soft, buttery, golden, and made from my sourdough starter. It doesn’t get much better than that!

This special little off-day pickup for a friend from out of town made my heart so happy 🤎 Not a full market setup — just a loaf and a sourdough starter kit heading to a new home — but to me, it’s so much more than that.

I love baking for my community, but what’s been even more fulfilling is helping people begin their own sourdough journey. Watching these starter kits fly off the shelf has been the sweetest surprise, because sourdough truly is the gift that keeps on giving ✨🍞
