This orange fault line cake was made for "A Little Cutie" baby shower. It is an orange cake with orange curd and vanilla bean frosting and it tastes like am elevated creamsicle! It was also made for a friend which is always a little bit more fun for me to make!

Ocean cake pops for a sweet little friends birthday pool party. Cake pops can seriously drive me crazy because they show imperfections so easily! However, when little miss Ava requests cake pops, I will always deliver! These cake pops were funfetti with vanilla frosting on the inside.

Two cakes in one day makes for one very busy and dish filled afternoon! However, this little beauty was a joy to make. I always love doing florals for cakes! This red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting smelled heavenly in my kitchen and had my five year old repeatedly asking to sneak a taste!

This blush pink beauty was for a super sweet baby shower. The top is lemon and the bottom is red velvet, and the whole thing was covered in cream cheese frosting. These little 6" round cuties are something I whipped up to donate to my church auction. I used them as an opportunity to try out some techniques that I have been wanting to try for a really long time. I tested out a stripe comb on the peanut butter cake and made a metallic gold drip for the chocolate cake. The drip turned out a little runnier than I expected because it didn't react to the chilled cake like a normal chocolate drip would, but hey, new technique tried and lessons learned!

We don't talk about Bruno, but we do talk about this Casita cake! As soon as Encanto came out my daughter knew she had to have an Encanto birthday party, and her main request was a Casita cake! Luckily she was pleased with what mom delivered!

This wedding cake for Ireland and Jared was a blast to make! I got to dust off my old floral design skills from my college days and create a beautiful floral arrangement to go on the cake. I also loved adding a little bit of the edible rose gold leaf on the side. That was my first time ever using gold leafing on a cake! This was a vanilla almond coconut cake, with vanilla bean buttercream and it fit in perfectly with their wedding venue at a farmhouse retreat just outside of Colorado Springs. Have you guys heard of couples renting an Airbnb for the night to use as a wedding venue??? That's what these guys did, and the house and property were STUNNING, and way cheaper than a typical wedding venue! So smart!
