On behalf of all of our Ooey Gooey family, it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing the close of our family business. After 5 years and who know how many cupcakes, cake pops and sweet treats, due to our expanding family, we will be closing this chapter. People ask me all The time "How'd the event go?" I assume they are talking about sales. Although sales are important, that's not all that Ooey Gooey is about. High point today was the crew chief for the bounce house workers came to get water (130), I told him to just have some..that I don't mind helping out. After a 5 minute conversation going back and forth "no, I feel like I need to pay you" "no, seriously take them, I'm the owner...I can do this" he walked away with a case of water, but he insisted on putting something in the tip jar.
