Another ! This week is a black pepper molasses cookie! I used my favorite ginger cookie base and just reduced the ginger and added some fresh black pepper. The cookie tasted good, but the flavor wasn’t quite there. There wasn’t enough spice kick from the black pepper. But I still really enjoyed the cookie and pulling back the ginger and letting some of the other flavors really come out like the molasses and some of the other spices.

Hahaha never again. Yes even bakers sometimes take the easy way out. I literally let it go back for 1 second too long. This was the 2nd time I’d make the mistake. As you can see butter on the ceiling of the microwave 🫠🫠 terrible but made for a funny video

We’re back again with another ! It’s been a minute since I’ve made a new cookie! These are a Cardamom Chocolate Chip cookie! These were actually so good! Cardamom added warmth, I’m not sure how else to describe cardamoms flavor lol. But it paired so well together with the chocolate. I didn’t know how well the cardamom would taste in a chocolate chip cookie but I really enjoyed it!!

Another Retesting recipe except this one was a fail🤦🏼‍♀️ this was supposed to be retesting my Ethiopian Neapolitan but instead of adding the spice blend in half of the already made dough, I added it into the flour so it went in the whole cookie lol. Good thing is, this one was still really good. And my family LOVED IT!!The spice blend I use is really so good in a cookie. But clearly a fail because with the spice blend in half of the dough the amount of spice blend will be more concentrated as opposed to it in the whole thing. So stay tuned for this one again lol.
