In 2014, I made this gingerbread butterfly cookie for Dolly Parton to use in her birthday promotion for the upcoming year. She loved my cookies especially my gingerbread. Over the years, I made special cookies for her family Christmases and for DreamMore Resort. Thank you Jackie Spining for making my Dolly connection. It is a memory I will cherish forever and even more now. I will always love you, Dolly!

There has been so much that has happened over the past few months. I figured that I would go ahead and let you all know an update.
My seventh grandbaby was born on February 6th. His name is Shiloh and he turned six months old this past week. It is such a joy to be a Grammy!
On May 23rd, I fell during a very unfortunate encounter and broke my back at the L3 vertebrae. I was in a back brace for eight weeks. I had to cancel some orders, scale back others, and turn away cookie work. It has been very unfortunate to have this setback, but God has been gracious and provided the healing that I have needed.
My husband, David also went through an emergency pacemaker replacement the first week of June. So for about a month, we were both recovering at the same time. It has been a slow process, but we managed to do all that we could to keep things going by the grace of God.
If you have any events coming up in the next 3 to 6 months, it would be very helpful if you would be willing to pre-order as soon as you can. I am going to limit my work for the remainder of the year. But I still need income to sustain us and supplement David’s Social Security income. I don’t want to start a GoFundMe or any kind of fundraising campaign to help with my medical bills. It would be helpful if you would be willing to order Cookies for the upcoming holidays. I’m getting turned down on most tailgate orders because people do not want my generic orange and white football themed Cookies.
I want to take this time to remind everyone that I cannot do anything that has a copyright. Whether it is NCAA sport teams, Disney, Marvel, etc. Thank you for understanding and I really appreciate any orders that you can send our way.
Sincerely
Karen and David Knapp
