Story time!

When I was a kid, my mom used to make this almond poppy seed bread for us. Growing up in a family of four kids, homemade treats were always something special, and this loaf was one of our favorites. We’d practically wrestle over who got the last slice!

I still remember the smell filling the house while it baked and trying to be patient until it was finally cool enough to eat. Seeing my mom generously glazing the top with the signature glaze and knowing I still had to wait to have a piece ughhhh Oh the torture! It’s one of the many family recipes at The Bread Chic 🥰

If you haven’t tried our Almond Poppy Seed Bread yet, you should! And the best part? You don’t have to share the whole loaf with three siblings. 😉😍

I’m incredibly honored (and honestly a little humbled) to be featured in Faces of NOCO 2026 as the Face of Artisan Baking.

What started in 2015 as a dream, a sourdough starter, and a lot of early mornings has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined. This recognition isn’t just mine—it’s a reflection of an amazing team, loyal customers, supportive wholesale partners, friends, and family who have been part of this journey every step of the way.

The Bread Chic has always been about more than bread. It’s about community, hospitality, craftsmanship, and creating spaces where people gather around good food.
