Happy Monday book nerds and sweet enthusiasts! I just wanted to get on here and introduce myself. My name is Payton Shields and I am so excited to tickle your imagination with literature and sweets!

A little about myself.
I am a dog mom; Otis and Roe will be making appearances here and there, so keep your eye out!

Currently, I serve in the Air Force Reserves (AKA weekend warrior🤣) as an Egress Journeyman.

My passion is geriatrics and hospice! My goal is to be a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner.

I have been baking for family and friends for quite a few years and loved every second of it. Those close to me know they can always expect some sweet treat for their birthday along with a book I saw fit.
A good chunk of wall space in my home is dedicated to my collection, from Stephen King to Shel Silverstein.

I wanted to create something that fused two of my favorite things together, and something I could share. Now here I am, the SUGARY NOOK! I love any and all ideas, the more creative the better! The excitement of this journey is like no other and I can’t wait to see what sort of ideas you have to offer!

I decided to start offering these options as I have someone very close to me who has a grain free diet. It’s always broke my heart to see her at gatherings not being able to indulge in all the treats. This was for her birthday and it felt so good to give her something she can devour!
