Hur mycket ska det till innan vi kan komma överens om det självklara?

Hjälp till att dela en inriktning som leder till en giftfri matproduktion. GMO-industrin har inte lyckats övertyga om att tekniken används till hälsa för människan när det gäller livsmedel.

Är bilden tillräckligt bra - behöver vi vässa den ytterligare. Tyck till vad som skulle behövas för att övertyga ditt nätverk, ditt parti eller dina vänner.

Det kanske inte går att nå fram i det här valet men snart är det EU-val och EU väljer att böja sig för GMO lobbyisterna trots att det är tydligt att det endast gynnar ökad giftanvändningen.

Vi borde kunna bättre.

Är det inte märkligt att så få partier tar hälsosam mat och matproduktion på allvar. För att hitta partier som aktivt håller hög gard mot GMO så behöver man leta sig utanför de etablerade partierna. Det är skamligt att vara teknikfientlig men vi som följt utvecklingen ser att tekniken utnyttjas i andra syften än att skapa hälsosam mat. Istället nyttjas den övervägande delen till att öka giftanvändningen. Alltså är den teoretiska användningen inte väsentlig då den inte representerar den verkliga användningen av GMO i matproduktionen.

Politiken sätter grundreglerna och marknaden får följa. Är det så att vi vill peka med hela handen att vi vill minska på matproduktion som kräver gifter så är det den vägen som vi ska gå. Låt oss hitta en väg framåt där hälsosam mat produktion får företräde. Vårt arbete har inspirerat till fortsatt fokus på GMO och hur det påverkar matproduktionen men låt oss intensifiera det arbetet.

Att partierna är omedvetna om hur det ser ut är till stor del för att informationenshanteringen brister. De som försöker uppmärksamma och informera får logaritmer och lobbyismen emot sig. Därför har vi alla en uppgift att informera respektive parti på alla sätt vi kan. Ta gärna material härifrån. Vi ska försöka att göra det så lättillgängligt som möjligt.

Hawaiʻi could receive up to $45 million in a new settlement with the Monsanto Company and its affiliates for making and selling polychlorinated biphenyls, chemicals that have leaked into and contaminated Hawaiʻi’s natural resources.

The state Attorney General’s office recently announced the settlement, following various claims against the company, which manufactured and sold PCBs for decades.

“Monsanto manufactured and sold PCBs for decades and the negative environmental consequences of these chemicals continue long after their production ended,” said Attorney General Anne Lopez in a statement. “This settlement holds Monsanto accountable for PCB contamination in Hawaiʻi and secures significant resources for our state. We will continue to use every tool available to protect Hawaiʻi’s environment and natural resources for future generations.”

We think it should be 45 BILLION.

GREAT NEWS: Roundup-Cancer Case Allowed to Move Forward. Judge Jeff Harris denied Monsanto’s motion for summary judgment in Marvin Kent Shull’s Roundup-Cancer lawsuit, marking what may be the first ruling in the U.S. to test the scope of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Monsanto Company V. Durnell decision in June. Shull, a Missouri farmer, sued Monsanto alleging strict liability design defect, failure-to-warn, negligence, and fraud, arguing that 30 years of Roundup use caused his cancer. Monsanto sought summary judgment, claiming Shull’s amended petition was essentially a repackaged failure-to-warn claim and thus preempted due to the Supreme Court ruling. Judge Harris rejected Monsanto’s argument, noting that Durnell addressed only failure-to-warn claims and did not extend to design defect or negligence claims. The court found it would be an “unwarranted expansion” to apply the ruling to those theories, which were not before the Supreme Court. Judge Harris rejected Monsanto’s implied-preemption argument, allowed Shull to amend his petition to focus on design defect and negligence, and declined to strike his punitive damages claim, finding he had presented evidence that could support such damages.

Despite the entire Trump administration putting their weight behind supporting Bayer-Monsanto and the Supreme Court ruling in favor of Monsanto, there is still a path forward for Monsanto's victims. MAKE BAYER-MONSANTO PAY.

Breaking News: Trump Awards Multi-Million Dollar Arms Deal To Bayer-Monsanto. Bayer presents itself as only an agriculture and pharmaceutical corporation. But it's also a weapons producer. This multi-million-dollar arms deal commits Bayer to supplying as much white phosphorus as is required by Pine Bluff Arsenal – the U.S. army’s key production center for its Chemical Corps – where Bayer’s highly reactive and toxic chemical gets loaded into artillery shells and other mu*****ns.

Bayer portrays its heavily polluting operations at the facility where it extracts and refines raw phosphate ore in Soda Springs, Idaho, as focused on bulk production of elemental phosphorus as the foundational material for glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Roundup herbicide. But in reality, Soda Springs is a dual-use facility. That’s because elemental phosphorus is nothing other than molten white phosphorus (or Willie Pete), which requires no further processing to be turned into military mu*****ns.

White phosphorus mu*****ns exact some of the most severe and horrific injuries known in warfare. Burning at temperatures up to 800°C and clinging aggressively to skin and clothing, white phosphorus can burn deep through tissue, muscle, and down to the bone. And unlike a standard heat burn, it is also highly toxic. Once absorbed by the body through the burned skin, it can target cells throughout the body, frequently causing fatal liver, heart, and kidney failure. This means even relatively small white phosphorus burns can be fatal due to internal organ poisoning.

The EPA is reviewing which scientific studies it will use to decide whether glyphosate, the world’s most widely used weedkiller, is safe. Public comments are open until November 23, 2026.

For years, the EPA has told the public that glyphosate is safe at the levels we’re exposed to in food and water. The study behind that claim has now been retracted. It relied on unpublished Monsanto data, and the authors never disclosed that Monsanto paid them for the work.

Bayer has already paid out roughly $11 billion to settle more than 100,000 Roundup cancer lawsuits. Tens of thousands more are still pending.

Tell the EPA its glyphosate review needs to be based on independent, peer reviewed science, not a retracted, industry funded study.

Earlier this week, OCA supporters added 20,000 signatures to the public comment period urging the USDA not to deregulate genetically modified organisms.

The comment period has now closed. But the fight isn’t over, and there is still time to act! Congress is considering legislation that would strip oversight from pesticide-producing GMOs entirely, including crops genetically engineered to kill insects by silencing their genes, a process called RNAi. Independent researchers have raised concerns that this gene-silencing mechanism doesn’t always stay on target and may trigger immune responses in humans, particularly in newborns and people with gut health issues.

Bayer-Monsanto’s RNAi SmartStax corn has been growing on U.S. farms since 2023. The EPA never required immune system studies or assessed inhalation exposure, even though corn pollen can travel up to half a mile on the wind. With 20 to 30 percent of the 86 million acres of GMO corn now carrying RNAi traits, this is already happening.

If Congress removes oversight entirely, there may be no way to track what follows.
