We’re hiring: Shop Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Shop Manager to lead our front-of-house team at Northern Rye.
The role will be based mainly at our Ouseburn shop, with flexibility to work across all locations. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, understands great service, and can help keep our shops running smoothly day to day.

You’ll be leading the team, managing rotas, keeping standards high, supporting training, overseeing stock and shop operations, and helping drive the business forward.
We’re after someone warm, organised, confident with customers and staff, and excited about good bread, pastry, coffee and hospitality.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
