Shopjacket is centred upon a range of creative image dressing packages that we’ve developed to help deal with the underlying issues of marketing an empty or run-down property.
By combining a Shopjacket transformation with our expert consultancy support, our aim is always to bring back vibrancy and a sense of pride to the high street - not only mitigating the negative impact of an empty shop, but giving our clients the support they need to secure and retain a viable new occupant.
We help the high street by taking your problem property and designing, supplying and fitting printed panels to the frontage in order to create a 3D illusion of a shop.
We have a selection of shop types to choose from, depending upon what your area really needs. These include a baker, florist, butcher, delicatessen, restaurant, fashion boutique, shoe shop, chocolate shop and hair salon, and we are adding to our selection all the time!
Each Shopjacket commission is bespoke, designed to be sympathetic to the surrounding area and its requirements.
Shopjackets can be fitted in a variety of materials, dependent upon your shop's condition and physical style. We offer 3mm dibond, 5mm foamex, or vinyl, and can advise on which type of material best suits your needs.
Where possible, we fit a Shopjacket so that it can be reused, making it ideal for use between short-term lets.
What makes Shopjacket special is our attention to detail. Not only are our 3D illusions beautifully designed and super quality, but we make sure that the whole frontage of each property we work with is conveying the best possible impression.
So, we’ll clean the shopfront thoroughly, and, if we think it needs to be painted, we can advise and arrange for this to be carried out before fitting.
Step two - consultancy support to give retailers and places the skills and advice they need
We recommend that a visual Shopjacket transformation is only the first step towards helping your high street.
It is best used as a powerful statement to kick start a support network of measures by councils, landlords and tenants, and we offer consultancy and advice on retail and property to help coordinate such a scheme.
Our emphasis is on helping you use your existing resources in different ways, such as improving coordination between bodies.
We also offer design consultancy, and regularly run merchandising workshops for groups of local retailers, as well as one-to-one, more in-depth sessions for individual shopkeepers.
Our aim is always to help you improve your local retail offering, and get your area moving in the right direction.
Who we work with
Our typical clients include local authorities and town teams who are looking to improve the appeal and occupancy of their town centres, such as North Tyneside Council, Sedgemoor District Council, Harrow Council, Newcastle City Council, Barnard Castle Vision, Dacorum Borough Council, and West Dunbartonshire Council.
We also work with shopping centres across the UK and beyond, creating striking Shopjackets for centres such as Eldon Square in Newcastle upon Tyne and The George Shopping Centre in Grantham.
