Due to an increased workload we have three vacancies available:
2 x General Farm Workers (seasonal 6 month contract)
We are seeking to appoint two seasonal General Farm Workers for six months (immediate start). A driving licence and experience operating a tractor, machinery and towing trailers would be advantageous and will be essential for one of the two roles. These roles will involve manual labour - lifting, carrying, planting of horticultural crops and trees, fencing, painting and sweeping. The role will also involve tractor work - mowing, topping, applying fertiliser, general grassland work and sowing. Experience working with livestock (cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry) would be an advantage but not essential.
1 x Day Centre Support Worker
This role will be working as part of a small team assisting adults with special needs and/or learning difficulties. The role will involve leading farm based tasks including animal care, cookery, crafts and life skills. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be suitably qualified and have experience in adult social care. This role is for 16 hours per week.
