🎃September 26th 2026
Join us Saturday, September 26 to enjoy great live music, food trucks, beer garden, games and shopping from our local artisan vendors, bakers and crafters!

🎸Music is set Starting with Hicks Duo from 2-4:15 then we are ending the night with a performance by High Street from 5 pm - 7 pm!

🍻Grab a beer in our beer garden, we will have a variety of drinks to choose from including Samuel Adams and games in the family area!

🎈Be sure to bring the kids for bounce house jumping, Hannah's Hope Playground, face painting, photo ops and so much more.

MARKET ON THE SQUARE RETURNS!!!

We hope everyone is navigating through this difficult aftermath of the storm. We are so grateful for our community and are excited to give people something to look forward to!

That being said, Join us for a night out of the house this FRIDAY AUGUST 21st at FOUNDERS SQUARE, PORTAGE IN. 🎟️🎪🌭

We are so grateful to be back at the square after a long week. We hope you are just as excited as we are and we hope to see you all Friday.

I've got power (and water) back! Next market is Tuesday in Valpo! I'll definitely have fresh bagels and cookies!

UPDATE: I lied. My oven decided it wanted to break like the trees outside 😭 I will not be at the market on Tuesday. I'll give an update when I can!

After a lot of consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel both Farmed & Forged markets this weekend:

📍 Michigan City | Saturday, August 15
📍 La Porte | Sunday, August 16

With so many people in our communities still dealing with power outages, storm damage, downed trees and power lines, inconsistent cell service, and difficult road conditions, combined with additional severe weather and gusty winds forecast throughout the weekend, we feel this is the safest decision for our vendors, team, and shoppers.

Many of our vendors and team members have been directly impacted by this week’s storms, and we want everyone to have the time and space they need to take care of their families, homes, farms, and businesses.

We never like canceling a market, but right now, safety comes first.

Please continue supporting our local farmers, producers, makers, and small businesses whenever you can. We know this has been an incredibly difficult week for so many throughout our communities.

Stay safe, Northwest Indiana. We’ll see you back at the markets soon! 🖤

Market on the Square and La Porte Farmed and Forged are canceled for this weekend!

UPDATE: Due to the unfortunate weather we have experienced across the area. Market on the Square on August 14th has been CANCELLED. We hope you all are safe and able to navigate through this difficult time.
We will update as we hear any updates for future markets.
