☕️ CALLING ALL COFFEE LOVERS.

Today is for you, my over-caffeinated friends. And as someone who drinks her coffee black, my coffee standards are… unnecessarily high. 😂 So when I tell you these are good, I mean it.

🔥 ESPRESSO SOURDOUGH BROWNIES
These are deep. Rich, dark, fudgy and packed with espresso flavor. We already use King Arthur Double Dark Cocoa Powder in our brownies, but these bad boys get paired with King Arthur Espresso Powder AND topped with an espresso buttercream.

Basically, if you’re looking for a little jolt with your dessert, these are for you.

🌿 Bloomstead is CLOSED today, friends!

I’m taking today to get my act together, restock, bake, prep, and basically convince myself that I have my life under control. 😂

I’ll be working behind the scenes today getting everything ready for a fresh, fully stocked start on Monday!

Today, the Bloomstead Bouquet Bar looks a little different. 🤍

We’re set up today for the celebration of life of a friend’s father, Roger France.

I only had the chance to meet Roger briefly, but it didn’t take long to realize he was quite the character. Funny, full of personality, and clearly someone who made an impression on the people around him. And he raised one pretty exceptional daughter, which says a whole lot about the kind of man he was.

When she told me she wanted a Bouquet Bar today because her dad loved flowers, I knew it would be an especially meaningful one.

It’s an honor to be here, surrounded by flowers, celebrating Roger’s life and the love he left behind.

Today, the flowers are for him. 🌸🤍

Apparently August looked at me and said, “You know what? Let’s really test her.”

And honestly? I would formally like to invite August to see herself out. 👋🏼 Because I am BEYOND done.

The storm. The tree vs. house incident. Car issues. Losing plants to storm damage. And then yesterday morning, our oven decided she was simply no longer interested in heating up.

Cool. Literally. Cold. 🫠

Thankfully, a little teamwork with my sweet husband and some probably-questionable amounts of determination later… THE OVEN IS BACK. 🙌🏼

Because we missed an entire day of baking, the stand isn't exactly bursting at the seams today, but we’ve got a little something:
