It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided to close Coowi Cookies after my final Valentines cookie sale. I’m so grateful by the outpouring of support through the last 5 years from all of you. What started as a fun side business for me and my friend Kristina , turned into such a meaningful and healing experience for myself.
I was in the thick of learning to manage 2 young kids and a new baby while my husband was working 70-100hr weeks. I needed a creative outlet that didn’t involve caregiving for others and was just about my passions (I think every mom can relate to that feeling that you’ve lost yourself at one point or another).
I have loved dreaming up new flavors, recipe testing hundreds of times, up until 2am baking, and most of all getting to know all of my lovely customers. This dream would’ve not been possible without all of you.
I’ve come to the point of healing; of feeling content of where I’m at in my life, coming up for air and calm, and am yearning to pursue other passions. I’m in a completely different season of life now, and I feel the need to change directions. My heart quite hasn’t been into baking cookies lately and I don’t want to come to the point of hating something I once loved so much.
I may come back to it, I may not. But for now, I’m having one last sale for my absolute favorite cookie holiday and then closing down. Thank you for an incredible, meaningful, healing 5 years; I love you all 💛💛💛
