What a week and weekend! 😅 Whew! From keeping up with our wholesale orders and catering parties, to seeing you all at the Farmers Market, and finishing up with some gorgeous wedding cakes—it has been a beautiful whirlwind!

With that being said, this coming week is going to look a little different around here. The Bakehouse is officially taking a little break!

Aside from recently injuring my right hand (turns out making hundreds of loaves and cakes takes a bit of a toll 😅), my son is heading out for the summer! I want to soak up every single second I possibly can with him and enjoy some much-needed family time. 🫶✨

But don't worry, I won't leave you hanging! Before I officially head out for some rest and family time, we will be completely stocking up all your favorite local markets and cafés with your favorite sourdough treats. Keep an eye out for our delivery post so you can grab your fixes to hold you over!

We have been so busy baking behind the scenes that we realize we've been totally hoarding all the pretty pictures! 😅 We are finally taking a breath today to highlight a few of the custom cakes and cupcakes we have made over the last few weeks.

You guys continuously surprise me with how much love you show us. I need to ask... did you seriously just completely SELL US OUT of every single loaf and pastry through online orders before the weekend even officially started?! 🤯

Yes... yes you did! And my heart is just overflowing. I truly cannot do this without you, and you guys absolutely SHOWED UP for us this week! 🥹💖 After a crazy, chaotic week, this is the absolute best plot twist ever. All that drenched flour hauling was 100% worth it!

With that being said, since every single crumb is already spoken for, we will not be at the Martinsburg Farmers Market tomorrow. This means I officially get to spend my Saturday morning mixing and spending time with my family 🥹
