I thought this loaf was a failure for sure. I used a lot of brown sugar and cinnamon and it looked like an ooey, gooey mess when I pulled it out of the oven.
I was wrong! It turned out sweet, super soft inside, crunchy on the outside and tasted like a cinnamon roll. It was a loved after school snack this week. ❤️

I have 12 sourdough Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookies available for pick up today. 6 for $8 or 12 for $15. One of my favorite steps of making the cookies below. Mixing the browned butter with 2 types of sugar, sounds and smells so good! Also, adding the chocolate chips of course 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day! I got up at 4 this morning to dip strawberries but I just dropped off the last Valentine box. You guys ordered 30 boxes before I cut it off! Thank you sooooo much. Moved my starter to a new jar because she keeps overflowing. As you can see, she is loving it! It had reached the top by the end of the day. This means more sourdough products for you!

Sourdough is tricky. There is so much science invloved and sometimes it just doesnt turn out right. The first loaf was for a customer and had a lot more “spring.” The second was for us and I rushed it because I was tired and wanted to go to bed. If I was selling it, I would’ve stayed up and watched it like a hawk. Look how blue the flowers turned out though and it will still taste delicious!

🥨Pretzels! Pretzels! Pretzels!🥨 I made 50 pretzels and I have a bag of 4 extra (3 cinnamon and sugar and 1 salt) for $8.50. It’s a “not as pretty but tastes just as good” bag because no one is perfect, even pretzels.
