Back to school 🎒

A croissant for your teacher or a palmier for an afternoon snack. As people start to transition back, we can’t forget to bring the little joys with us! An afterschool pain au chocolat is one of those joys.

Some Frenchmen we know used to have a baguette with butter and chocolate for their afterschool snack - we might need to bring that back.

Everyday, our bakers make beautiful pâtisseries. Bakers Play is a highlight of new creations or reimagined classics. It allows us to try new products and taste new flavors. We have some fun things happening this fall… stay tuned for a taste.

But don’t worry, summer isn’t over yet 🌞 Joséphine will available until September 7.

Our bakers ⏲️ Every day they rise early to bake, mix and finish our croissants, tartes, bread, pâtisseries and sandwiches. Nothing beats a croissant fresh each morning.

Ready for a party 🥂

Macarons have the ability to make anything feel festive. From backyard bbq’s to birthdays, their color and variety of flavors makes it a wonderful centerpiece on the dessert table.

We pride in making our macarons not too sweet - the almond flour shell with a full of flavor buttercream helps us strike that balance.

The truest taste of summer in the PNW 🌞

The tart sweetness of rhubarb with the sweetness of our almond cream in a puff pastry crust.

Grab a slice to enjoy at the park or a whole tart for dinner with friends.

Summer at the market is pretty wonderful - we’re soaking it all in this month!

To be one of the original French bakeries in Seattle and to celebrate 43 years in Pike Place Market feels “kinda chic.” As does sharing a box of croissants and ordering dessert for a party.

Every morning our bakers rise to prepare the croissants, bread, pâtisseries and sandwiches that fill our cases. Their skill to juggle the timing of each item in our different ovens requires such focus.

We hope you can get a glance of bakers bringing out hot trays or using the paddle to take bread from the oven.
