For those who always ask Holly “Are you Danish?” The answer is yes, my grandfather was half Danish and half Norwegian, but he married an amazing woman named Ruth who learned how to make all the Scandinavian cookies and pancakes who later passed them all down to me. It has been a pleasure bringing that heritage to my day to day life through our ownership of Nielsen’s, but it doesn’t mean kransekage is going on the menu anytime soon 🤣
