A little late getting the menu up today, but here we are! Adding to the Halloween treats this week with the addition of the witch fingers! A boozy chocolate interior and covered with ghoulish green marzipan, these will delight all your senses!

I've also got the face pies returning - they are just too fun to make and slice into! As well as the chocolate princess cake and other spooky and yummy treats for this week's fika box!

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween!

I am back for another week of spooky treats including the brand new (I literally just ate a little slice) of the apple blueberry 'face pie'. A flakey double crust pie packed with an apple blueberry filling that just so happens to ooze out of the orefices during baking. These were so fun to make and take out of the oven and I just know that I am going to have a great time making them for you.

I"ve also got more chocolate princess cake coming your way as well as a spooky addition to the fika boxes with the Boo Berry bars.

Each week I'll be getting more spooky over here so watch this space.

It's (almost) a new month and I am ready with some new things for you all! I love October and I love making all the different fall treats this time of year.

October 4th is cinnamon bun day in Sweden, so I am celebrating in my own way by bringing back the cinnamon apple buns. They are the perfect treat for the season! A classic Swedish cinnamon bun topped with pearl sugar and an apple cinnamon filling piled on top. It's so good! I can't wait!

Also returning this week is the Chocolate Princess cake! If you like chocolate and raspberry, you are going to LOVE this one. It takes all things classic about the princess cake and makes it chocolate, all the way down to the hand made marzipan. I don't make them often, but when I do, they are *chef's kiss*.

Rounding out this weeks fika box are the apricot bars, the creme brûlée tart (SO good!) and my kids favorite, chocolate balls.

It's a new week and the weather is amazing. I feel old saying this, but there's just nothing like those first crisp, cool, early fall days. I feel like I need to make soup, bake bread and make a cup of tea all at the same time...

But a menu and a living must be made, so without further ado I am running the schatzwald cake for one more week before I replace it with something more Halloweeny. I have been starting to think about the Halloween menu and I am getting excited for the new things I am dreaming up. In the meantime, I have the schatzwald, Princess and apple cakes, as well as mini versions of the cardamom creme brûlée pie. If you haven't tried it yet, it's so good that I think I'll make an extra for my family this weekend, or just me. :)

Another week and another menu! I so love the Schatzwald cake that I had to make it again and this week I added the Princess Cake to the menu as well. There's never a bad time for a Princess Cake.

Also rounding out the menu this week is the Apple cake - including slices of it in this weeks Fika box! I've also got oat cookies, raspberry chocolate sticky cakes and My favorite vanilla hearts.

This morning felt a little bit like fall and I couldn't help but get excited!

I'm bringing back two classics this week, the Schatzwald and the Apple cake. The Schatzwald is my take on a Schwarzwald cake, it's a delicious chocolate hazelnutty delight topped with a salted whipped cream. It's so GOOD! Then, the apple cake is a fall staple in Sweden. Spiced with both cinnamon and cardamom and baked with cinnamon apples and pearl sugar. It's a perfect weekend snacking cake.

Back with a limited availability menu this week - I am booked for a bunch of princess cakes, but I am taking next week off as a goodbye summer week. While I don't have any specific plans with my daughter, but I am sure there will be some pool time, and other fun involved.

I am still neglecting to take photos of the summer roll cake, but I served it to my family this past weekend and it got rave reviews. I have room for a few of those as well as some strawberry princess cakes and of course, FIKA! I'm bringing the cardamom creme brûlée mini pie back this week and I am so excited for it.

It's a rainy afternoon here, but it's also steaming hot. Honestly my least favorite weather....

But, gotta stay positive and rejoice in the summer berries! I'll have a repeat of the summer roll cake - which I forgot to take a picture of! But I ate practically all the scraps from the rolling and it was reaaaaaly good. With a mix of whipped cream and mascarpone cheese, it's got a little tang, but great berry flavor. In fact I am making one for my mom's birthday this weekend, I like it so much! (Spoiler alert, mom!)
