Friendly reminder - you are worth it. It doesn't have to be a special occasion to treat yourself. Everyone can use a little indulgence occasionally, and the holidays are made for extra doese of joy.

My dose of joy today in the midst of the chaotic holiday season was experimenting with Photoroom's AI generated background!

These are the results. A gamechanger to eliminate set up/staging for content creation, but 🍫We will let our chocolate confections speak for itself 🍫

Do you know what today is? It’s our ✨anniversary! 3 sweet years of baking joy and crafting mini-sized wonders in chocolatey delights. Can you believe it's been that long already? Here’s a highlight of the 3 key takeaways I’ve learned Then Vs Now:

🔑 Community has been the secret ingredient. Finding a support system of like-minded individuals who share my goals has been crucial

At the start of the year, I joined Chef Schonberg’s Entrepreneur Community and never looked back. I don’t feel as lost in my journey now that I’ve found my people. Sometimes, you just need a sounding board. There’s no way you’ll have all the answers, but guarantee you are not the first person to ask the question. Establish your networks, lean on them, and reciprocate.

🔑 Consulting is a big one. Being creative and perfecting your craft, your product/service, is a slither of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. I’ve been diving into a rigorous business course, Kauffman FastTrac program, through my membership with the . Since the start of the course, I have been able to equip myself with the business skills, insights, tools, resources, and peer networks (lawyers, accountants, marketing experts, suppliers, etc) necessary to grow a successful business.

And guess what? It’s already paying off. I was honored to be chosen as a grant finalist for the Jack Daniels Make it Count initiative which led me to participate in my first of many pitch competitions. You don’t have to get an MBA, but a true entrepreneur is dedicated to continual learning.

🔑 Know your why. Speaking of pitching, it’s hard to convince potential customers and investors of your business idea without clarity of (1) what you do (2) why you do it, and (3) who you do it for. The learning curve has been a rollercoaster, but with the help of incredible mentors, classes, and a whole bunch of learning, this chocolaterie and bakery story keeps getting better.

I am grateful for all the amazing support that's made this journey a whole lot sweeter. Here's to more years of tiny treats that bring big smiles!🌟
