GF bakers, this one’s for you 🍞✨

Sourdough was never off the menu — you just needed the right flour. Lesson 1: building a gluten-free sourdough starter from scratch, using Maskal Teff Ivory Teff flour (seriously, it’s the MVP here — link in the caption 👇).

All you need: 🔹 25 g Ivory Teff flour (daily)🔹 30 g water (daily)🔹 7–14 days of patience

🫶 A Heartfelt Apology...

Due to an unexpected ingredient delivery delay, The Wheat Escape won’t be at Carytown Farmer’s Market this Sunday. (Of course, I didn’t get notification till after I posted this week’s menu!) I’m so sorry to disappoint anyone counting on us—we’re working hard to get back on track!

And just a heads-up: I’ll be heading out of town Thursday to celebrate my mom and dad’s 50th Wedding Anniversary (how incredible is that?! 💕💍), so all orders will remain paused until July 26th to accommodate my travel and work schedule.

To everyone who continues to support this little dream: thank you doesn’t feel like enough. Your patience, kindness, and love mean the world. I’ll be back baking fresh loaves soon with plenty of stories (and maybe a few extra smiles) to share! 🍞✨
