Well, come on by this weekend for our Store Closing Sale! We have many items that we are trying to get rid of that any home baker or business could use! 😁 This will be at our former cupcake home, 3111 W Cary St
The hours for the sale will be:
Friday, June 28: 3pm-7pm
Saturday, June 29: 11am-5pm
Sunday, June 30: 12pm-5pm

Thursday (6/20) evening we will be stopping online orders! If there is anything of ours you want to try before we close, now is the time!!! This is our last week in operation as we are closing this coming Sunday (6/23). Place an online order at carytowncupcakes.com to secure some cupcakes for our last weekend or come by to see us! We will be stocked with sweets until the very end 🫡

We have Lemon Berry Poundcake and Churro in the case all week long!! These flavors along with a couple weekend specials starting this Friday, will be our last specials ever!!!

💙 Lemon Berry Poundcake: lemon and blueberry poundcake, topped with lemon cream cheese icing and fresh blueberries
🤎 Churro: cinnamon cake with cinnamon toast crunch crust, topped with cinnamon buttercream and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar

🩷 WEEKEND SPECIALS 💚

For our second to last weekend in operation we are keeping the fruity theme going with some new flavors, Vegan Triple Strawberry and Gluten Free Coconut Passionfruit! These flavors as well as our weekly special flavors of Banana Pudding and Peach Bellini will be available through this Sunday (6/16)!!!

🎃 SCARYTOWN THROWBACK WEEKEND 👻

For our 3rd to last weekend in operation we are highlighting some of our favorite Spooky flavors including Sorting Hat, Butterbeer, and Vampire’s Kiss! All available today and tomorrow. Our staff loves spooky season and will miss baking for you this Halloween, come by this weekend to say goodbye to our scary sweets with us!! 💜

💙 JUNE 3RD - 9TH SPECIALS 💙

We are starting off our last month of operation strong with some Halloween & Winter favorites including Espresso and Vampire’s Kiss!!

Off Menu flavors of the week:

☕️ Espresso: espresso cream cheese pound cake filled with coffee pudding, topped with espresso whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings
🧛🏻 Vampire’s Kiss: white almond wedding cake filled with raspberry grand marnier coulis, topped with amaretto buttercream and silver glitter

Gluten Free and Vegan flavors for the rest of the month include:

🤎 Gluten Free Peanut Butter Blossom: chocolate cake topped with peanut butter buttercream, a sprinkle of sugar, and a Hershey’s kiss
❤️ Gluten Free Strawberry: strawberry cake made with fresh strawberry chunks, topped with strawberry buttercream
💛 Vegan Raspberry Lemonade: lemon cake filled with raspberry jam, topped with tart lemon buttercream and a raspberry jam drizzle
💙 Vegan Speculoos Cookie Butter: spiced cake filled with cookie butter, topped with cookie butter buttercream, ganache drizzle, and a sprinkle of salt

And of course all of our Classic flavors Lemon Lover, Chocolate, Funfetti, Red Velvet, Oreo Peanut Butter, and Carrot will be in the case as well! We will still have cookies and bars throughout the month, highlighting our Apple Cider Coffee Cake as this may be our last batch ever!!!

Since we opened in 2009, Carytown Cupcakes and has been one of Richmond’s go-to shops for cupcakes, cakes, pupcakes, and other goodies. We have also been honored to help celebrate countless birthdays and weddings over the last 15 years.

So it’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our last day of business will be Sunday, June 23rd. New (exciting) plans are in place for our little space at 3111 W Cary, but unfortunately, cupcakes won’t be a part of them.

BUT... a little silver lining: during our final month of business, we’ll be featuring our fan and staff favorites, so please keep an eye on our Instagram for weekly and weekend specials. We are committed to staying stocked up and operating as normal for both our customers and our amazing staff until June 23rd.
