We believe great-tasting foods bring people together. In December 2020, Ukrop's Market Hall opened at the corner of Horsepen and Patterson Avenue.
In 2010, Ukrop’s Super Markets sold its grocery stores after being in the retail food business for more than 72 years. At the same time, members of the Ukrop family launched a new company, Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods, to continue the tradition of producing the fresh and delicious foods that have become staples in homes throughout Richmond and beyond. At Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods, we produce classic fami
ly favorites like White House Rolls and Chicken Cobbler; plus, we develop new, innovative products, too. Bringing families back to the table inspires us in our important work as we help to nourish individuals through our fresh and delicious foods. Customers can dine-in or carry- out longtime favorites like fried chicken, potato wedges,custom salads and pizzas, as well as shop a full selection of packaged prepared entrees, sides, deli salads, and fresh baked goods. Ukrop’s Market Hall is a continuation of a story that has spanned generations – and the very future of fresh, local, wholesome community nourishment.

Packaging Challenges
You’ve probably noticed that some of our packaging has changed over the last several weeks. This is not by design.
Supply chain issues are continuing to impact our suppliers, making these substitute containers (certainly not ideal) our only choice for ensuring that our products will be on store shelves.
We do hope we’ll be able to return to the regular containers in the next several weeks. In the meantime, thanks very much for your patience with us!

Why and why now? As we began to explore offering these little gems to new customers within RVA and areas beyond our region, we felt it was important to more clearly communicate what consumers will find inside the package. So, let us reintroduce to you…Ukrop’s Mini Pies…Chocolate Fudge, Zesty Lemon, and Roasted Pecan.
Everything about these is the same…same ingredients, same baking process, same great taste, and simply a smaller version of our larger Pies!

We are so proud of former Ukrop's Super Market Brook Run Manager Ray Flournoy...he's been participating in the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K since the race first began in 2000 with just 2500 runners!

GRP's Jennifer Wakefield and Mitchel Allen met with Board members Patricia O'Bannon of Henrico County Government, Bobby Ukrop of Ukrop's Homestyle Foods, Jeff Ukrop of Ukrop's Threads and Leslie Haley of Chesterfield County Virginia Government for a Board meeting at Gather's location. After the meeting, the group received a tour of the Ukrop's Threads facility where more than 1,000,000 uniforms have been outfitted for the nation's workforce.

A1 Minute for February 7 is up! The General Assembly is working on legislation that could lead to release or shortened sentences for people in prison on ma*****na related crimes. The inaugural RVA Sports Awards named Keira D'Amato (Sports Backers) and Chris Marston (Sportable - Richmond Adaptive Sports & Recreation) Athletes of the Year. Coach of the Year went to Marcus Lewis of Varina "Blue Devils" High School Football and Team of the Year went to Patrick Henry High School Boys Volleyball. Community Champion Award was given to Bobby Ukrop (Ukrop's Homestyle Foods) while the Power of Sport award went to Michael Robinson. Last, two Virginia college students from William & Mary and University of Virginia will compete in the Jeopardy! National College Championship.

I'm a lifelong fan of your potato wedges. I was thrilled to get them at Ukrop's kitchen when you first opened. However in the last 6-8 months, they have changed. They now seem to have a thick batter coating and remind me of wedges I see at any grocery store. At first I thought I was mistaken but then I got the Ukrops wedges at Libbie Market and they tasted like the old wedges. Did you change your wedge recipe at Ukrops kitchen? They were perfect when you first opened but have changed.
Are collard greens out? I haven't been able to find them for a month now over at Kroger on Staples Mill.
