I am backkkkk! Still standing, still choosing JOY.....

Life has a way of challenging your ability to trust God, especially when you’re in the middle of something you don’t understand. It’s easy to have faith when everything is going right, but trusting God when things hurt, when doors close, when plans change, and when you’re tired, that’s when your faith is really being tested. I’ve learned that sometimes, when you feel like you’re ready to give up, that is when you have to keep going. You have to remind yourself that the storm doesn’t last forever. There is something on the other side of it that you cannot see yet. So here I am, just allowing God to lead me. I don’t have all the answers, I don’t know what every next step will look like, but I trust Him. Whatever comes my way, I believe He will give me the strength, courage, and grace to face it.
And if you’re reading this and you’re in a hard place right now, please don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep moving forward, even if you have to take it one day at a time.

I am a true believer that kindness goes a long way. 💛 My coworker gifted these beautiful items to me today, and it truly made my day! If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE the Fall season, and sunflowers are my favorite! 🌻🍂🍁 It’s the small things that mean the most. I’m so grateful for this thoughtful gesture and for the little reminders from God that there is always something to be grateful for. 🙏🏾 As the Fall season approaches, don’t forget to reach out to me for all things banana bread! 🍌🍞 👩🏾‍🍳

The flour you choose matters 🌾
I make my traditional banana breads with 100% whole wheat flour because it's naturally rich in fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. Refined or enriched flours lose much of their natural fiber and nutrients during processing. I personally love baking with King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour, but any high-quality whole wheat flour will work. One thing to keep in mind is that whole wheat flour has a shorter shelf life than refined flour. That's why I recommend freezing your banana bread to preserve its freshness, flavor, and extend its shelf life. For my gluten-free breads, I use cassava flour, a naturally gluten-free, grain-free flour made from the whole cassava root. My goal is simple: wholesome ingredients you can feel good about. Know what you're eating because every ingredient matters.👩🏾‍🍳💛
