Thank you, everyone, for the tremendous support at Palafox Market on the past Saturday and during the past years since we first started our little bakery in 2019.

Being a baker and a small business owner was never on my list, nor did I have any relevant experience before I came here to America, but somehow, I managed it. I really couldn't do it without every single person who trusted me, who was willing to try my treats, who visited my booth, and who always gave me feedback and opinions to help me improve.

I'm grateful that , , and many other amazing local events provided me opportunities to meet you all, including making good friends like , , .Please visit and support them. You will be able to taste and feel their care and passion towards their food and artwork.

We"ll move out of country around the middle of August. I may do flash sales if I have some time. Afterward, I’ll keep this account and try to share more about my upcoming trip to Taiwan and life back home.

Wish everyone all the best! Welcome to visit my home country one day too! ☺️

*Daifuku is a mochi (rice cake) that's filled with homemade sweet red bean paste and a whole fresh strawberry in the middle. We make it vegan and gluten-friendly, too!*

A Unique Pastry Shop

The Pretty Bear’s Bakery is currently a home-based kitchen under Florida’s Cottage Food Law. We specialize in authentic handmade Chinese and Asian-style treats which requires more focus and time to present each pastry according to tradition. We purchase most of our ingredients from local stores and process them from scratch. For example, to gain the smoothness of mooncake, a special treat for Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, we use cannellini beans which every 300 grams of them require at least eight hours of soaking, two hours of peeling by hand, two hours of cooking and more. We try to maintain all our pastry at a lower sugar level, which allow the ingredients to show its freshness and a wholesome healthy feel, yet keep a delicate and enjoyable flavor for the pastry.
