Way earlier in my career, I would endlessly tag , just hoping they’d eventually notice my work. Well, idk if it was the tagging or what, but something worked! The last time I was in their NYC offices, it felt pretty surreal to be inducted into their cake plate hall of fame (not sure if it’s actually called that, but it has a nice ring to it 😋) and to be included alongside some of the most recognizable Food Network faces.

This career journey has been wild and wonderful, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experiences and opportunities I’ve had in this industry. It feels like just yesterday I was making my very first business card and selling candy apples at the hair salon down the street.

There’s something about summer that makes the heart remember the simple joys of childhood—especially when reliving those magical moments with my daughter. Watching her experience a slip-n-slide for the first time was unforgettable. Here are some of my favorite July moments ☀️

1. A wonderful 4th of July trip to Maine with , visiting family and my future sister-in-law 💖 Best. Lake house. Ever.
2. Long days filled with endless dips in the crystal-clear lake. Chloe became a pro at jumping off the dock ✨
3. Aric can cook anything, but pizza night is extra special—his pizzas are no joke. Plus, how cute is that apron? 🍋 🥰
4. Chloe lost her first tooth and pulled it out herself! 😭🥹
5. Styled my first cookbook! 92 Mexican recipes for a major publisher 🥳 Grateful to for trusting me with this project. Being a good food stylist is more than making food look good—it’s about mastering logistics. Eight days to shoot a cookbook means your plan must be locked in. That’s what this photo shows :)

2 - amazing brunch at where I got to see my favorite Frenchie and take a tour of their incredible kitchen 🇫🇷
3/4/5 - Chloe’s 6th birthday! Mine and Aric’s families came to town and got to meet eachother for the first time! We all got deathly ill from a contagious child but had a great time nonetheless 🥰 and .dam.jenkins dressed up like the princesses they are and performed for the kids 👸🏻🥹 somehow the only pic I got of Chloe’s bday cake this year but she sure did love it 💖

My happy place ✨ it’s still surreal standing in here sometimes - In this space I built completely from scratch, by myself, for myself. I sat down almost 2 years ago and imagined what I wanted this space to be - most importantly, how I wanted to feel when I was in here. Then slowly but surely, I brought that vision to life. Now, time to manifest a full HVAC system up in this… 😋

I couldn’t be prouder to be your future wife ❤️ I knew it from the day I met you and I’m so excited for this next chapter in life together. There’s a million + 1 reasons I said yes and you show me new reasons to love you every day. Chloe and I are so damn lucky to have you ❤️ I love you so much it hurts (and yes that’s a hot sauce packet I took all the way to France *juuuuuuuust in case*) omg don’t even get me started on this STUNNING ring he had custom designed for me by the incredible 🥹 he even included an emerald in the band for Chloe (her birthstone)!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 yes. I was an absolute sobbing mess. I LOVE YOU FIANCÉ!!!

We can all agree the worst part of Christmas is the cleanup right…? Every year I just throw everything in a big box and say “I’ll deal with it next year” and then all of a sudden it’s next year and I’m dealing with a huge mess of lights and cords. ‘Tis the season am I right? 😅
