Doughs are all made up and tucked into the fridge to rest this evening. All that's left to do tomorrow morning is bake, mix glaze, decorate and package! 😅

It doesn't matter how many times you've made a recipe, you will still fall prey to the cookie batch math gods on occasion.

Everything was looking promising with the wet ingredients, but as soon as the dry started mixing in the texture was just... Wrong 😬

After doing the recipe in reverse to scale it down to be re-made I found that I had omitted 9 Tbsp of liquid 🫢 and yup, that'll do it every time.

Can you tell which cookie triggered cussing and which one gets to go to the customer?

Have you ever thought about whether or not cookies are afraid of the dark?

I don't plan to find out!

I bake with the oven light on (that is how my momma taught me). It does at least one of 2 things...

- Provides a certain ambiance for the cookies baking

- Helps me judge the bake time remaining when my ADHD inevitably kicks in and I realize I forgot to set a timer 🤷

Thank you to the folks that braved the heat this morning and bought some of our new flavors, sometimes without even taking a sample first. I respect that!

Worry not, the Pecan Crusted Coconut Oatmeal cookies will be back next week. I've been properly chided 😂
