You can’t really tell, but underneath my eggs, spinach, and broccoli sprouts is one of the crispiest French baguettes I have had in a long time and I used to work for Michelin travel guides… Don’t walk, run and pick up a fresh warm baguette from this bakery

June 13 – Oflow High Tea Party ☕️🍰🫖

Oflow (115 N. Maple St. just off the Square) will host its next high tea party on Saturday, June 13, with seatings at 1 and 3 p.m. The limited-set menu will feature nine different pastries and savories as well as fresh-brewed loose leaf tea from Music City Tea, coffee from Narrow Gate Coffee, and Taiwanese Bubble Tea. The cost is $35 per person or $25 for children between 3–8 years old, plus tax. Dress for a high tea party (semi-formal or smart casual). There will be a prize for the best-dressed. Reservations are limited. A nonrefundable $10 per-person fee is required to secure your spot. For more information, visit overflowb.com/events or call 615-900-1676.

A year ago, a customer snapped this photo at the market and sent it to us. Scarlett, pictured here, has been such a blessing to the OFLOW family. After leaving for childcare, she returned to help with our farmers market, and now she’s off to beauty school to pursue her next dream. We are grateful for the many talented baristas who have graced our little bakery and café over the years, and we pray over each of them as they follow the paths God has for them. Scarlett, we’ll miss you and are cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️☕✨

Our little bakery and cafe was created because of a vision to bring community together through breaking bread and drinks like in Jesus days. Support artists around the square tonight with First Fridays The Boro Art Crawl, Oflow will host face painting artist Painted Pony Face Paint. Then enjoy some dueling pianos music at the square from Main Street Murfreesboro/Rutherford, Inc.

Every so often, someone tells us that our bakery and café should be more “modern”—more industrial, more gray, more straight lines, more cookie-cutter.

But then we see families returning for High Tea, children laughing at cookie decorating events, guests lining up for photos with the Grinch, and customers telling us how much they love the warmth, comfort, and character of OFLOW.

The truth is, we’ve traveled across nearly every state in America and explored cities and countryside around the world. The places that stayed with us weren’t the trendy spaces that looked like everything else. They were the unique local businesses filled with personality, stories, cozy corners, beautiful artwork, and welcoming people.

That’s what inspired OFLOW.

We didn’t create a space to follow trends. We created a space that feels like home—a place where you can slow down, connect with friends, celebrate special moments, and enjoy handcrafted food made with care.

Our vibe isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay.

The Boro Art Crawl returns to the Murfreesboro Square this Friday, June 5, from 5–8 PM!

Join us for an evening of local art, creativity, and community as artists line the sidewalks around the Square with paintings, photography, jewelry, face painting, mixed media work, and more.

While you're downtown, be sure to explore local shops and restaurants, and stick around for Main Street Murfreesboro's Friday Night Live concert beginning at 6:30 PM.

We can't wait to see everyone out supporting local artists and celebrating Murfreesboro's growing creative community. 💙
