Rise Up Friends, I’ve been quiet for a while. I’ve been baking a littler but this week a storm ripped through our town. An EF3 tornado destroyed the heart of Menasha. Business, homes. Destroyed. I’m sure you’ve all seen the news.
Our home is fine. We sustained zero damage, which still shocks me. We are less than a mile away from damage and power outages. That being said, our water treatment many got destroyed and were under a boil advisory, which makes getting water and washing dishes much more difficult.
I would like to give back to the community, when it’s safe to do so, by baking bread for people and handing it out. If you would like to donate to anything for that purpose (flour, money, etc), let me know and I’ll figure out when I can begin baking again.
I’m not sure I’ll be back to baking to sell, but I hope it won’t be too long.
