Neenah! It's farmers market season!

I will be there at Shattuck Park this Saturday! I'm setting up every other Saturday this season. I'm also in a different location right by the road.

A little behind the scenes of running a bakery out of your home...

The event is long over but the work continues. Cleaning all the pans and bins. Along with the bakery itself. Flour gets EVERYWHERE when you use over a 100lbs a week. Everything here gets a good scrubbing and then sprayed with a food surface sanitizer while air drying.

I take cleaning serious. Even though it is not required, I am food handler certified because I want to do things right.

And side note....yes that is a cookie from Bumbleberry Bakery and one leftover scone from Sisters Sourdough Co. And lastly, if you don't have a kitchen diva or a jelly bean candy machine in your kitchen...are you really living to your full potential?

Bakers dinner....lol.

Things most people don't see when it comes to baking days...besides a scone I had earlier, this will be the only other thing I've eaten today.

We just forget to eat. The dough controls everything today.

At this point, I've been mixing, shaping, baking and packaging for 15 hours today.
