My heart is SO full after this weekend ๐ฅน๐ค
What started as a spontaneous trip to Maine with my best friends turned into something Iโll never forget. Yesterday, we had lunch at The Lost Kitchen for my second time, and today we drove to Portland for Erin Frenchโs cookbook tour for The Lost Kitchen: Seize the Supper.
Listening to her talk about the meaning behind this book and the heart behind what she does honestly brought tears to my eyes. So much of it resonated with me and the way I want to run my own little business. And then, as we were walking back to the car, I GOT TO MEET HER ๐ญA moment Iโll never forget.
The Wandering Loaf is about so much more than bread to me. I want my baked goods to make you feel at home, bring you joy, and be something you share with the people you love. I put so much of my heart into what I do, and I hope you can feel that in every loaf, cookie or bagel you have from me.
Iโm so thankful for the people who inspire me, the memories I get to make, and every single one of you who supports this little dream of mine. This weekend reminded me why I started and made me even more excited for whatโs to come. ๐ค
Erin French Erin, thank you for being such an inspiration. And thank you all for letting me share a little piece of my heart with you. Maybe one day I can come work at The Lost Kitchen & learn from you ๐ค
This is your reminder to chase the thing that sets your soul on fire. You never know where it might take you ๐ค
