13 years ago this month I decided to offer cupcakes and bread to help our daughter raise money for her schools road side clean up. Little did I know what was in store when I did that. This week I am really excited to have moved into a mixing room that we made in our house. We took a toy room that our children out grew the need for and made it into a mixing room. I am so excited for the next several months when it is typically the busiest season for me to have an area I can work in. Enjoy the before, during and after pictures!

Things are a little quiet over at the bakery but that doesn’t mean that our summer has been slow. We have 3 daughters and they are involved in a local fair and farm show. 2 of the girls show market steers and all 3 show goats. This coming weekend we will take 3 goats to a local fair for them to show. Our nights have been filled with walking the animals and giving them baths and clipping them.

The biggest thing happening is we are in the process of finishing up a renovation project in our house. We had a toy room that we are changing into my mixing room. Next Tuesday the flooring is coming and I have work tables ready to move in. Stay tuned for before, during and after pictures! I am so excited for this new space before the busy baking season starts!

Where has the summer gone! Sorry for being missing in action. Our summer has been full of working with livestock that our children will show at an upcoming fair and farm show, processing produce, trips, camps and mission trips for our children and just life has felt very busy this summer.

Here we are 3 weeks before school and that signals the end of summer.
I will be offering a Facebook sale to help those first few weeks of school go a little smoother as we all get back in the routine of packing lunches.

The past serval weeks have been busy in my little corner of the world as I am sure it has been busy for everyone else as well.

This morning I had fun baking and coming up with something new for me to bake.

Introducing: French fry sugar cookies with icing dipping sauce 🍟🍪

These would make a great addition to your July 4th picnics or pool party. Look for the Facebook order form to come out later today! This will be a great time to stock up on whoopie pies and these cookies fries for the weeks ahead.
