Nothing better than going to deliver to your mom and a black bear crosses your path on the way! 🐻 NO, I didn’t stop and take a picture, I was going 55 down US19-E S and it popped out on the right and sauntered across the road and into the woods on the left. I slowed because I was in awe and looked back as I was passing by… tell me why it looked back at me too!? 🥹
With all of the hard but very cool things I’m doing this week, on top of the passing of our dearest Dolly Parton -I’m taking it as a sign! An Appalachian glimmer, if you will ✨
Visiting with mom was the icing on the cake!
I haven’t seen her in a while and boy we had a time in the Elizabethton Food City parking lot 😂 15 minutes heehaw laughing and catching up with her did me a world of good. Y’all go hug on the folks you love and keep your eyes open for the little bits of mountain magic 🦋🐻✨ that Dolly helped share with all of us. (This is my mom’s favorite Dolly tune)
