I’ll be at on April 25th for a fundraiser for an amazing woman. The wife of one of my husband’s colleagues suffered a medical emergency which has left her with severe injuries and wheelchair bound. I haven’t posted for a while. It is hard here in Minnesota right now. I’m trying to figure out how to move forward with regular life, including baking, while supporting my family, friends, and community. I love my community and I am so incredibly proud to say that I live in Minnesota. The opportunity came across my path to bake vegan, gluten free mini cupcakes for the extraordinary Hopkins High School Theater department during their One Act plays. The joy and support these kids give each other is inspiring. It reminds me that we are so much stronger than the violence and hate that has come into our lives, and that as long as we love and support each other, we can drive the hate and violence out.
