A few weeks ago I posted an update on the season ahead, some changes Iām making and what I plan to focus on this year. I had a comment about cutting garden boxes, and have had some messages about them as well. While I wasnāt planning to do them this year, that decision has been swimming around in my head as it was one of my favorite things to offer in the spring. Thereās something about growing plants for other people to be able to enjoy the pure joy of a garden. This time of the year Iām spending a lot of time daydreaming about warmer days and pretty flowers.
That said, if I do offer plant starts again Iām thinking I will have the sale only a week or so before the plants are ready to be picked up, so late April. Iād like to be able to offer not only a curated garden collection, but also individual varieties. If you purchase or would like to purchase plants for your garden this spring (specifically for cut flower use - something not typically available from nurseries) what quantities would you prefer? 1, 2, 3 of each variety? More? Are you the type of person who would rather have a curated box, or would like to be able to choose your own colors and varieties to customize your garden. Let me know of any suggestions! I would love to be able to offer this again for 2026 and am open to hearing everyoneās thoughts š± š
