Monday reminder! Meet us at 6am Lyon Street Cafè TOMORROW (Tuesday) for intros, route/safety, and a run or walk…When we’ve returned from our 3 mile run or 1.5 mile walk, we do community announcements and offer up an optional extra 2 miles. Afterwards, hang out with us for some coffee and social time before you head off to work!

More details: the walk is altogether. The run is at your preferred pace (current range is approx 8min/mile to 13 min/mile, always with a caboose crew). You’re also welcome to show up for social hour or/and extra 2 around 6.45. Dm us or comment if you have more specific questions.

Celebrate the beginning of autumn with us tomorrow morning 🍂

Join us at 6 am at Lyon Street Cafè for intros, info, and a group pic. Then we get moving: a 3 mile run at your preferred pace (current range of paces is 8-12 min/mile) or a 1.5 mile group walk. Community announcements and coffee at Lyon Street Café, and maybe a treat from Nantucket next door. Optional extra 2 mile run after announcements (or if you can't make it at 6 am, you're welcome to join us for just the extra 2 at 6:45).

Friendly reminders: it's getting dark outside, please remember to wear lights or a headlamp! Please also call out obstacles and hazards (such as cars, other pedestrians, uneven surfaces, and potholes).

Thanks to everyone who came out to chill at After Dark last night! It’s always fun to get to know each other outside of 6am run mode, meet new folks who prefer evenings, and take in the city from a good spot.

Yesterday turned into a most pleasant night for our second Lyon Square Soirée, complete? with an upside down? car for ArtPrize and the sound of actual rapids, as this summer’s work on the river restored this stretch of the Grand.

We’ll look forward to sharing the next scheduled After Dark on here. Otherwise, you know when and where to find next week (Tuesday, 6am, Lyon Street Cafe!). Happy weekends, LSRC, and best wishes to everyone doing training runs this weekend 🖤

Run club, not too much rain club! Good turnout and good chats. Thanks for starting your Tuesdays with us, for the new folks giving us a try, and Lyon Street Cafè for hosting us!

Move with us in the morning from Lyon Street Cafè! Going down the cheer tunnel is optional, but friendly faces are guaranteed.

We start at 6 with info and intros. Then we go for a 1.5 mile group paced walk *or* a self-paced group run (current paces in the ~8-13 min mile range). When we’re all back we do announcements, chill, or do an extra 2 mile run.

(If you can’t make Tuesday morning or not sure if you’re ready to run with us yet, we have a social event this Thursday! Part of our After Dark series, this week’s Lyon Square Soirée is no movement required, just to enjoy the night, the river, and the people. Starts at 7.30pm, see separate post.)
