Delivering my final order for Feed My Sheep! A delicious GF and vegan salted dark chocolate tart with raspberries. Yum 🤤

My husband and I are moving to Boston and so Feed My Sheep is going on pause for now. This move is quite abrupt and unexpected, but we are so, so excited about it. I don’t know yet whether or not I’ll continue this baking business after we move. I need some time to get established in our new home and discern what’s next for me.

I’ve been unofficially running Feed My Sheep for the past year and more officially began this business in January 2022. Despite the short time frame, I am so thankful that I had the chance to start something that I loved. I’m immensely grateful to every customer who took a chance on my fledgling business and believed in me enough to buy some baked goods to share!

I’ll still be baking in Boston (absolutely!) and I still believe in the vision of ‘baked goods that are meant to be shared’. Here’s to bittersweet endings and new beginnings!

Angel Food Cake// A summer-y favorite that pairs perfectly with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. This cake is sweet, sticky, and light. It’s like eating a cloud. You may want to eat this whole thing yourself, but remember this cake is meant for sharing. Bring it along on a picnic or serve it at a summer barbecue. Your friends and family will thank you.

SUMMER MENU! 🙌🏻🎉 My summer menu is live on my website and these amazing chocolate chip sourdough scones are on it. I’ll still be offering most of my standard baked goods through the summer, but with a few seasonal options like blueberry rhubarb pie, raspberry almond ricotta cake, blueberry lemon tart, and angel food cake. Mini Cupcakes// This is what 140 mini cupcakes looks like 🎉 🧁 These were for The Parsonage Inn last weekend, as they celebrated the 140th birthday of their house and 5 years in business as a bed and breakfast. The cupcakes are a mixture of funfetti cake with ultra-rich buttercream and double chocolate- my classic chocolate cake with creamy chocolate frosting. The cupcakes were also enjoyed by guests on the Heritage Hill tour of homes! I hadn’t done mini cupcakes before but these turned out fabulous. Blueberry Rhubarb Pie// It’s rhubarb season, y’all. This blueberry rhubarb combo is absolutely delicious. With a vanilla nutmeg crust and crunchy streusel topping. 🙌🏻 🥧 I’m planning to update my website soon with a summer menu and this pie is definitely going to be on it. For now though, I’m at capacity and not taking any new orders until June. A great problem to have. Thank you all for your support!

Happy Pi(e) Day!! 🎉🥧 Today happens to be one of my favorite holidays. Enjoying this blueberry lemon pie and dreaming about Michigan blueberry season. 😍 My husband and I pick blueberries every summer and last year we picked almost 40 lbs! 🫐The berries for this pie came from part of our stash in the freezer. Anyone else celebrating with pie today?
