I miss the days when posting a photo was enough. ❤️

No fancy editing.
No complicated reels.
No trending audio.
No trying to figure out what the algorithm wants today.

I miss when I could simply share something I spent hours creating and let the work speak for itself. ❤️

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy making content, but sometimes it feels like creating the content has become just as much work as creating the actual product. 🫩

And honestly? It's exhausting trying to keep up.

I'm a baker.
I'm an artist.

I pour my heart into what I create, and sometimes I just want to share a beautiful photo of my cookies without feeling like I need to turn it into a production.

Maybe I'm a little old-school, but I miss the simplicity of it all.

So today, I just want to show you some of the work. 🫶

Around here, we make things from scratch, obsess over the little details, take cookie breaks with Ace, and believe that doing what you love should actually feel like you.

One of the perks of owning your own business:

No PTO requests. No waiting for approval.
I AM THE APPROVAL. 🤣🙌

Of course, I’m also the employee, the manager, the marketing department, the customer service department, the accountant, the cleanup crew AND the person who has to cover my shift when I take said time off. 🤷‍♀️😂

There are so many things I love about owning my own business and plenty of days that make me question all of my life choices. 😆

But somehow, we keep showing up.
We keep creating.
We keep going.

And at least my vacation request was approved. ✔️🤣

Yesterday’s delivery to The Nook was looking a little extra fetch. 💋

I brought along some special Mean Girls-inspired cookies for Mean Girls Day at The Nook THIS SATURDAY!

They’re tucked away until the event, so you’ll have to wait until Saturday to get your hands on the Burn Books, That’s So Fetch, and all that pink. 💕
