There were a lot of firsts in this order. First full sheet cake. First carrot cake for a wedding. First hundred pounder. Well, not really, but it feels like it. First freehand writing. And on and on and on. What wasn’t a first? Saying yes to anything! I love a challenge and I love trying new things! And I miss my therapy in the kitchen so these new experiences a really something else for me. Also remembering how much I love a homemade carrot cake was divine!!! Congrats to the newlyweds!

Graduation cupcakes for Alli Lalli Lou 🍓 I have always found therapy in the kitchen, so it was a joy to create these cupcakes for Alli’s graduation party. Vanilla cake with fresh strawberry puree center, topped with stabilized whipped cream and freeze dried strawberry frosting, chocolate cake with milk chocolate frosting, and butter pecan cake with cream cheese frosting 🤍

Jumping back into the wedding cake scene with the latest trend of the rectangle cake and WOWZERS this is not for the faint of heart! Squaring off those corners was not as easy as I thought, but I sure had a lot of fun trying!

Congratulations to Samra and Senay - I was honored to play a small part in your celebration of marriage. Cheers to a lifetime of love and laughter and lemon cake!
