Deets: Vanilla Cake with strawberries and Cheese cake filling. My first attempt with this flavor and it was an instant hit! 😋

Bottom Tier- Fresh fruit cake

I was very excited when I got to make this cake last year. However, I was skeptical about posting this cake picture for the longest time because I had quite a situation with this cake. The filling was oozing out few hours before the delivery.. I cried, panicked and had a full meltdown. This was the first time it happened. I finally decided to fix it with best of my ability. Long story short my client did love the cake flavors but the color palette didn’t turn out as expected. It took me months to make peace with myself and start taking orders again..
Here is what I learnt from this whole situation-
1. Less is more in terms of filling when doing tier cake. Specially when the filling is on softer side. Chilling the cake before stacking is the key. 😌

2. If you can scrape a fully frosted cake couple of hours before the delivery and redecorate a 2 tier cake, trust me you can do anything in life, literally anything. 😅

3. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Prioritize your mental health over anything. Mistake happens and you learn from it.🤗

Stop the traffic and close the road, AARIV turned 3 years old! The construction theme cake done for my little boy in February.
Tried to keep it simple and added lot of fun construction toys and all over. The birthday boy enjoyed both😅! ❤️
