At Global Gallery, we are dedicated to promoting fair trade, handcrafted products from around the world. To us, part of this commitment also means spreading awareness about what fair trade really means, its history, and its impact today.

This week, we wanted to focus on the iconic FAIRTRADE mark pictured below. It was first launched in 2002 and designed to reflect the optimism of workers and farmers. The blue is meant to represent potential, the green for growth, and the raised arm for the celebration of human determination.

We are officially hiring for our Operations Manager position!

The Operations Manager ensures that every aspect of the café (from the quality of the espresso to the warmth of customer interactions) reflects our values of equity, sustainability, and community.

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends operational management with mission-driven work. The right candidate is equally comfortable running a busy service floor, managing staff, developing vendor relationships, and collaborating with the Board on long-term strategy.

We're stoked to host Bazaar Ritual’s Fall Market and Fundraiser this Sunday, October 4th. We’ll have local vendors, food trucks, and live music at the shop from 2 PM to 7 PM-- the perfect way to end your weekend.

A portion of the proceeds will also go towards supporting Global Gallery’s Friday Night Music Series, so a big thank you to Bazaar Ritual for their generosity and partnership.
