Late lunch early dinner…linner? Big salad with roasted tofu, avocado and chick peas. Vinaigrette is lime/tahini/cilantro/maple, very yummy!

What’s for dinner tonight? I was planning on making turkey burgers but the meat was still frozen, so it’s sausage and potato skillet bake. Big salad and leftover berry crisp. Notice how dessert is front and center, and I already ate some, that is not a mistake. 🔪🔪

Sometimes you want a cupcake. I have been slowly coming back to baking, taking stock of how much energy it takes and practicing how to achieve the level of technique I prefer without overdoing. Still playing around with this, baking when I feel healthy enough, and prioritizing relaxation and joy while doing the work. As my brother in law says, “poco a poco”. Little by little.

Zippy egg salad with small diced crunchy vegetables. On roasted beets and toasty baguette. I took a nice long break from social media and coming back to it feels okayish, but it seems there are more bells and whistles.

Imperfect biscuits, I cut the shapes w***y nilly. But they were incredibly tender, buttery and all of those layers. With homemade and it was breakfast for dinner. I know the world feels topsy turvy, keep making art, keep making beautiful things. Keep looking at the horizon.

Seems like a good day for I think this was originally the Lazarus zucchini bread recipe I adapted for muffins. I prefer them plain with a pad of salted butter. Just like the bread was served at the Lazarus cafe in downtown Columbus.
