To whom it may concern. I do not think imitation is the highest form of flattery. I think itโ€™s lazy. I worked through my own demons to get here, you donโ€™t get to pretend to be me without knowing how hard that was.

When I see it happening, especially from people who have reached out to me for help or advice. Honestly, Iโ€™m disappointed. Because that means that I thought more of you than you thought of yourself. I knew you were capable of great things if you leaned into who you were. Instead of putting in the work, you thought, Iโ€™ll just do what Annie does, itโ€™s working right? Well unfortunately for you, and many others, the secret to Bite This is not the aesthetic, or the baked goods, the secret is me, and how much I give a f*ck that the work I put out is a reflection of that.

There can only be one me. You have to do your own work.
