Good morning! We have some slightly disappointing news. Don’t fret we will open today BUT it’s not going to be until about 1. Our employee is ill and we have prior appointments for the house this morning that we can’t miss. We will see you today it just won’t be until this afternoon! We have a line up of cookies, bagels, English muffins, brownies, a few sandwich loaves, and of courseeee the main star plain, three cheese, rosemary and garlic, garlic and parm, and jalapeño cheddar sourdough! The energy infusion fridge is stocked and waiting for you! We have stocked our spice line, as well as olive oils and vinegars from Pickle Creek as well! Granola restock will happen later this week!

Good afternoon! We have a long awaited update! Beau Laundry Co.’s oven has been appropriately installed and tested. It was a bad day to be a cookie! We have our health inspection Monday morning and are hoping to be back up and running by opening of NewBo City Market Wednesday morning! Thank you all again for the thoughts, prayers, donations, and love. We appreciate each and every one of you and cannot wait to be back with all the smell goods!

We had to make some butter today for an event and we have a bunch of buttermilk. I was thinking I’d make some buttermilk biscuits. Anyone have a need for some biscuits?!

You. Guys. 😭😭 first we aren’t crying you’re crying. This small business journey has brought so many AMAZING people into our paths and we are forever grateful for that. Beau Laundry Co. and its amazing owner Alex Beaumier has offered his oven to us to use until our arrives. We can’t even begin to thank him. If you didn’t know Beau Laundry has the best smelling detergent and balls this side of the Mississippi. Go check him out and give him back all the love he has given us. We also want to thank Stephanie Schmidt Hall 💕 without her the purchase of our second oven would have never been possible as quickly as it was. We are forever grateful and thankful for the village that has surrounded us during what has been a super trying year. Without all of you showing up, encouraging, and blessing us we never would be where we are. The community and love you all have shown us we fully intend on continuing to give back and pour back into the community who has always shown up when we needed it the most.

I’d say good morning, but it hasn’t been a good one here. We can’t make this up and if we had worse luck I am not sure we could survive it. We are not currently sure how we are going to survive this one. The second oven we ordered after we had to cancel the first one is on back order. We weren’t told that when we ordered it ( shipping within 4-8 business days)and it isn’t going to ship with an estimated date end of October. 😭 We genuinely are at a loss here. The business is our livelihood and sole income. Every day we are closed hurts. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

For a little bit of good the new production site is coming along. The HVAC and plumbing were installed this week, and the electrical should be complete by the end of the weekend. We have applied for the licensing the facility, but without all the equipment we can’t have an inspection. We are trying to stay positive but it’s getting harder every day. We love and miss each and every one of you.
