La Saison (The Season, in French) Bakery and Chocolatier, was founded by Soheil Fathi first in Tehran, Iran in 2007. Once it became an established business in the heart of the city, Fathi decided to migrate to the United States with his family in 2017 due to a family health crisis. This was a new chapter for La Saison; emerged and refined from the personal and professional journey of a minority in

the U.S. Today, despite all the challenges, La Saison is once again able to present a taste of hope and love through its bread, pastries and chocolates.

Some friendships grow slowly and naturally — like plants finding their way toward the light.

Our outdoor space wouldn’t feel the way it does without Every season, Stefanie Gordon and her amazing team somehow make it feel fresh, alive, and quietly magical again.

What we love most is that nothing about it feels transactional. The care, generosity, taste, and attention they bring comes from a real place — and we feel lucky to share a neighborhood and friendship with people like this.

Thank you Stefanie and the whole team at for helping La Saison bloom a little differently every season🤍

Thank you to everyone who came yesterday, and to those who sent their love and support through texts, messages, emails, and by simply continuing to come back to La Saison.

We’re beyond grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and supportive community. As immigrants, building something that feels this rooted, warm, and human means more to us than we can put into words.

Every conversation, every familiar face, every small gesture of support reminds us that what we’ve built together is SO MUCH BIGGER than a bakery. 🤍

Our Sicilian-style pizza starts with what matters most: a slow-fermented sourdough focaccia crust. Airy, crisp-edged, deeply flavorful — and honestly, your gut will thank you.

Then comes the house-made tomato sauce, fresh local ingredients, and generous extra virgin olive oil on top. No additives, no emulsifiers, no weird stuff. Just real food made slowly and obsessively.

Freeze them, reheat them, fold them in half, eat them standing over the kitchen counter at midnight — they’re built for real life.

72 slow hours of fermentation before each loaf of our sourdough reaches the shelf - and that slow fermentation is what your guts thrive on.

“Long-fermented sourdough may be easier to digest, gentler on blood sugar, and better for nutrient absorption — thanks to natural fermentation.”
