Some of the best Portuguese sweets were created from tradition, memory, and creativity in the kitchen. 🤍

With these, I wanted to create something different — something not commonly seen or already done over and over again, while still keeping the heart of Portugal in every bite.

Inspired by the comforting flavors of pastel de nata, these little bites were made to feel nostalgic, warm, and homemade… like something waiting for you at your avó’s kitchen table. ✨

Some cakes tell a story. 🇵🇹

Inspired by Portuguese azulejos — blue tiles on the walls, lemon trees in the yard, fresh coffee in the kitchen, gold touches around our necks… the little details so many of us grew up surrounded by in Portuguese homes.

This cake reminds me of the elegance and warmth of the Azores — where beauty lives in tradition, family, and the simple things.

A little love letter to our roots ✨ and our parents who worked hard to give us beautiful lives.

That feeling will always inspire Pastelaria Azul 💙

Named after Queen Amélia - this treat is traditionally from Terceira.

My mom is from São Miguel and my dad is from Terceira — though he was born and raised in the beautiful seaside town of Praia da Vitória and even though he spent time in São Miguel during his army days, Terceira will always be home for him.

I had to make these treats inspired by his island 💛 and honestly… I loved being there. The food, the sweets, the atmosphere — everything felt like home.

We will be offering Dona Amélias on our menu 🥰
