It might seem like running a cake shed is easy until you're baking for hours on end, stressing over stock, cleaning constantly, and praying people actually turn up
But then someone
messages saying your bakes were amazing it suddenly all feels worth it! Running a cake shed is exhausting, chaotic, expensive... but I love it! It's fun, exciting and great for learning new skills and trying new things if you are
thinking of doing one go for it!!

That’s a wrap on this year’s Mini Bakery! So grateful for everyone who came this weekend, I completely sold out and had to close early!! 🩷 it’ll be back within the next year but I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has come and continues to come. It started of as a small idea after seeing a few of these cake sheds pop up on social media around the time I first got into more complicated baking and I’ve absolutely love doing it. I have been able to try so many new bakes and improve my skills massively as a baker! I really didn’t think it would have continued to do so well week after week but I’m so grateful to have been able to keep doing this and to meet and chat to so many of you in the village ☺️. I’m looking forward to next years Mini Bakery and will be planning lots of new bakes over the Christmas holidays 🎅🏻☃️
