🏗️ Using a scalloped fondant tool to create track marks on the board and cake

🚧 crushed biscoff biscuits to make a gravel/sand effect

🧱 round cake on a square board really made it look like a play scene. My little boy loved playing (and eating) as if it was a little activity for him!

🚦keeping the colours neutral - with beige, peach and different shades of blue. No bright yellows or heavy blacks around here

🚜 I had a vision of an acrylic road arch coming out the side of the cake (thank you Kenzie’s Laser Designs✨ ) and the rest just came together from that

I’m honesty obsessed with this cake and it pained me to cut into it. That pain didn’t last long because it tasted bloody amazing too 😂👏🏼

Okkkk, hands down my favourite cake design I’ve ever done!! This was a 6inch carrot cake with a biscoff buttercream and it just WORKS okay?! Don’t judge before you try. It was a big hit 👌🏼

x6 carrot cake cupcakes with a sweet vanilla buttercream and a dash of cinnamon for good measure 🥕

x6 lemon drizzle cupcakes filled with a creamy pistachio filling, lemon buttercream, a bit more pistachio cream (because too much is never enough) and a lemon peel garnish 🍋 GORG 💛💛💛

After so much interest here is my sugar free, dairy free, UPF free, perfect for weaning, or a healthy treat recipe! (Not suitable for under 12 months due to honey)

*To make a batch of x9 banana muffins I make up the banana bread recipe and divide it equally in cupcake cases, and bake for roughly 20 minutes*
